Got these to replace old one's as they weren't locating at top causing a draught. It says for side opener but used them on a top opening casement and they are very good. Job sorted window is now draught free and secure. Good price to for ERA quality.
Perfectly good but I got the stack size wrong - don’t believe the advise that a step or kink in the arm that supports the window indicates it’s a 17mm stack size. I had a step and bought these but had to change for 13mm alternative. Toolstation were good both with initial purchase and return. Easy to fit but important to position and secure the new hinge as best you can to the original hinge position. I should have bought the 13mm stack size from the outset as they should come with 4mm packers such that they fit either stack size.
The product I received was not the same of the picture, I was a little disappointed because I was specifically looking for that one.

Nice product, well made and easy to replce worn hinge.
First time I have fitted window hinges, but the process was easy. From ordering the product online for next business day collection, to fitting the hinges. Now aware that there are top hung and side hung hinges. One has to measure the length and width of the hinge (is it 15mm or 18mm wide) as well as the stack height (is it 13 or 17mm) . I have a mix of windows and some were 13mm stack and 15mm width and others 17mm stack and 18mm width.

As expected, could be a bit stronger but ok. I got this after having got the one with the wrong height. The image is not as the current product, as the top is now plastic and you will need to carve the wood to fit, as it uses more space.

These are a great replacement hinge for my old ones that were tired and worn out. Do check the size of your old ones before ordering as they come 13mm and 17mm height sizes.
Decent hinges at a good price,only problem being they are not a “stock” item so the hinges are £7.50 but then they have to be delivered which adds another £5!! and I only live a mile away from my local warehouse.
