The ERA 5 lock lever was a direct replacement with an old existing ERA lock so no need to re-cut the aperture. Changes to the design, eg, turning the catch bolt with just one screw made it so easy. Perfect.
An old garage side door lock managed to find the exact lock in stock at Toolstation so an easy straight swop. Really happy.

The lock itself is OK but I needed to rotate the latch bolt. Doing this resulted in the latch bolt jamming in the case. Which meant I couldn't fit this lock in the door I was working on.
The lock is fine out the box. But I need to rotate the latch bolt to suit my door. This is easy enough but jams in the casing once rotated because something is misaligned. Which renders this item completely useless. Expected better from ERA. The box wasn't sealed so I'm wondering if it had already been returned by a customer. Massive waste of my time :(
