This truly is an excellent piece of kit, pretty much impregnible by normal standards I can now leave the house knowing that the front door is as secure as it can be.

The lock was a direct replacement for the original so there was no need to do anything other than unscrew the old one and fit the new one. When operating the deadlock the striker deployed and retracted as it should but when I tried to operate it again the striker wouldn't operate. I noticed the deadlock striker was not fully home and pressed it in, I was then able to operate the look again. Clearly there was a fault within the lock mechanism and it was returned for a refund.

Direct replacement for existing lock that was in need of replacement. Fitted no issues and with basic DIY skills. Significantly cheaper than paying a locksmith!
Fitted this as a replacement for an old 3-levet mortice lock. All seems fine so far, albeit nobody has tried to break in to the house. Looks robust and the mechanism is nice. Slightly bigger (deeper into the door) than the one it replaced meaning a bit of light chiselling but no big deal. The holes for the screws were also in slightly different places but I consider this to be advantageous as it means fresh new holes all correctly sized and secure. Same story with the spindle being a few mm out therefore the handle had to move a touch; again great for new screw holes but did require a touch up to the paint (whomever painter last didn't remove the handle as I would have 🙄). I don't mind any of these minor works as they are largely expected. And whatever nuisance it may be to do them is offset every time I lock or unlock the door, because now it is a satisfyingly silky smooth operation, rather than being an aggravating wrestle with a hip pushed against the door.

Replacement lock as old one was worn out. Very easy straight swap. Only came with two keys, which is the only thing letting this down.
