The size was right, it fitted like it should, it is doing its job just right.
I needed a new cylinder lock for our main door as my wife had misplaced her key but did not remember if she had perhaps dropped it at our front door or elsewhere. For security reasons I decided to change the cylinder barrel. Toolstation had the correct cylinder in stock( there are many variations!) I ordered online and collect from the Anniesland branch within the hour. I was greeted in a friendly and polite manner at the sales counter where my purchase was located quickly and handed over. I had previously disassembled my current lock and was easily able to fit the new cylinder. The lock came with 3 keys which was useful although I have since had another 3 keys cut to give to family members.
Staff excellent, well worth drive from Thanet to Herne Bay. Good price too.

Well, it’s a lock cylinder and it does what you expect from a lock cylinder.
Fitted straight into door, comes with three keys. Replacement lock with 3 keys, for the price of getting 2 keys cut. Measure from the retaining screw in your door, to get the correct length of lock.

Used to replace an existing cylinder. Only had one key for the old cylinder, cheaper to buy this one with three keys rather than have two keys cut! Suggest you remove & measure the old cylinder first as there are many sizes to choose from.
These locks are smooth, can be fiddly to pick and are a good security upgrade from older locks.
If you want a next level lock cylinder this is a good purchase, whilst it is BS rated it does not have anti - snap protection so it would be good providing the door is fitted with an internal locking bolt should the lock be snapped off from the outside to gain entry. Other 3 star replacement cylinder locks are available to give maximum protection at additional cost . Remembering all these cylinders can be opened with picks in less than a minute.
