Good product. Simple and reliable. Will buy again.
Works very well, easy to fit using template provided.
Good to have a choice of warm/cool lamps. Fits with a 85mm or 90mm hole cutter both of which make a generous in hole size. Buy extra bulbs as typically when the bulbs are gone they're gone.
I've visited toolstation twice & the service has been excellent not sure on what I needed but the staff were very helpful
Have fitted many a light but not amazed by these fittings for the price. The holding spring is strong but has side flex which means it doesn't hold best into platerboard hole. The cable clamp is a faff to open being a cable tie style toothed ratchet. Would have preferred traditional screwed strap. Finally the gu10 lamp holder doesn't exactly have a quality feel to it.
Excellent product, easy to fit, looks very good.
Unfortunately Toolstation took payment for all 13 lights I requested but only delivered 7 with a note apologising for not having the correct amount in stock. The money was returned in good time but I have still not been able to source some matching lights so may have to have different lights at the other side of the room.
Good Downlight for price and good product
Really nicely made lights, I have them in the office and the bathroom
Good quality product, easy to fit
it was a good well made light.
Does the job - but I have seen better
Package specified 90mm hole but I went 1/4” smaller and fit was ok - could go a bit smaller still and get away with it - other than that - no issues - great lights - used recommend leds in cool white - lovely job -several million brownie points with the missus - I can’t rate the reliability (gave it average because they’ve only been in a week)
After searching for hours it was the only place I could find led housings with all the features I wanted.
Option to change bulbs easily, chrome, once installed ability to pull them away slightly from ceiling when required for painting, gu10, dimmable led compatibility.
When installed the chrome finish looks great. There were some blemishes on the finish of some but you cannot see this from normal distances and for the price they are great value for money. Installed 6 months ago and they are all working OK. The electrician used a jab saw and a compass to mark out and cut hole required. Bevel overlaps quite a bit so you don't have to be too accurate.
These have been up for a couple of months now .
Were straightforward to install and required a larger than normal hole , which worked out well for me as I was replacing old brass Downlights.
The only slight niggle I have is the finish of the bulb retaining rings which is not up to the standard of the rest of the fitting .
Replaced original MR16 with this product. Excellent quality and easy to wire and fit. With LED 5W lamps it’s put a new light on the kitchen.
Now installed for 2 weeks .
Inexpensive down lights, good product
Very good value, chrome looks amazing. Bigger in size than normal and give an expensive look
well made and good looking, easy to fit.
