These batteries powered things that need batteries. I'd love to say that the exotic size requirements of our particular use case restricted our selection options, but these are AA batteries. They have worked everywhere I have needed AA batteries. They come in a box, which means you can store them without them rolling around the drawer.

Used Energizer's lots in the past but this pack are rubbish, read 1.62v out of the pack put after only a few days of use in a tooth brush die. Off load they are at 1.51v but as soon as you put them under load they drop to under 1v. Past batteries have lasted around 6 weeks for 2 batteries with brushing twice a day! Even had 2 that were at 0.65v out of the pack. Thought i had put old ones back in but hadn't
