I bought these as a deal, because I already had a drill and a grinder that used the same batteries. The lawnmower is fine, the strimmer works well, but goes through the red blades like they're going out of fashion. I've only used it for about an hour in total and I've already had to buy another pack of blades. That's the reason for the 3 stars. Both machines are lightweight and easy to assemble and use, good for a small garden.
I bought this mower not expecting much. My long term petrol mower finally died and was heavy to move about. How wrong I was! I can easily pick up and carry with one hand. It cuts my medium size rear garden and smallish front garden on one battery, with spare charge left. It cuts cleanly and picks up all the cuttings. Into Autumn and it hoovers up all the leaves as well. The grass box holds a surprising amount. The design allows it to be quite tightly packed. Though it can be a bit of a fiddle to fit at first. The cutting blade has remained relatively sharp throughout the season.
Overall I think this is a great value for money purchase. Not sure it would cope with long meadow grass! But for ordinary lawns, no problem.
for the money, absolute bargain, but you need more than one battery. our terrain is a bit challenging, so the light weight mower was a huge advantage. It had to work quite hard, but got the job done on longish grass. Dont try to cut it all at once, take it down gradually. Strimmer is a bit hard to control and we cut chunks out of the edges.
Good value for money. Easy to build. Lightweight.

Good value for both and easy to set up, both lightweight, lawn mower easy to adjust height of cut. For me, the minimum cut could of been a little lower. Strimmer easily adjustable length and much easier to use without trailing leads.
What a perfect cordless lawnmower this is, Great for medium to small lawns, battery lasts forever, easily manoeuvrable, adjusting this mower is an absolute doddle, powerful yet robust. The mower is excellent, quiet, light to carry around, fast charging battery and the 4aH does my lawn with charge to spare. Easy assembly and emptying so dead pleased with it.
The strimmer though is awful - buy the mower on it's own.
Cannot be rotated for vertical edging. Uses plastic blades, instead of a nylon line, that shatter against edging stones leaving shards lying around. 3 blades broke on first use.
I have a 17yr old Flymo with a 15m nylon line spool that's way better than this and the spool lasts ages.
Great lawn mower. Used it on my daughter’s lawn which was really a bit overgrown and it cut through it no problem. She lives in a first floor flat and her garden is not right up against the building. So this is ideal for her as no more need for a really long power cable
Well constructed mower with plenty of power, much quieter than my previous mower. Great safety feature of a key that isolated the motor when removed. Sturdy grass box with indicator that shows when box is full. Handles can be completely folded down unlike many other mowers. Many cordless mowers have a single cut height, this one has 5 different heights, cots through thick grass easily even when on the lowest cut setting. The strimmer is equally as good, using plastic blades is much easier than the old reel type. We used it to trim back wisteria which it did with ease.
Easy to assemble lawnmower, perfect for my small lawn but would even do for quite a larger lawn, rotary blade which i fined cuts better than any other and great to have no cables.

Great addition to my Einhell collection. Made the grass cutting so much easier, my other half loved it! The strimmer is fine. Battery life was fine but we have a large garden so needed the batteries that we use for the other einhell tools.
Really light but powerful enough to cut my front and back garden with still power left in the battery. Such a change to cut the grass without fighting with a cable, I actually look forward to cutting the grass. Fantastic price from Toolstation plus you get a strimmer thrown in with the battery and charger.
Would definitely recommend this set.
Very light and easy to use, lawnmower cut ok, but had to go over some areas. Strimmer, don’t like the plastic cutting blade (snaps off as soon as you hit any edging like fence, stones), but again very light and easy to use.
Well built, lightweight with a good battery life. What more could you ask for especially at the offer price. Well done Einhell and great service Toolstation
Brought the battery mower for me to use at the mum-in-laws as her old cable one had given up.
Straight out the box easy to put together. Done the stimming first with no problem for the battery, then put the battery on charge while I had a cuppa, then cut the grass front and back with no problem. Easy and light to use and cuts well.
Would I recommend this, definitely no more trailing cables to worry about. Just got to make sure the battery is always charged and ready to use.
Einhell claim this lawn mower is suitable for a lawn of 200 Sqm ... It plainly is not! When I bought this lawn mower I charged the battery until it showed full and then started to cut my grass - 2 areas each about 6m x 6m, in total less than 80Sqm - it conked out 75% of the way through. Ok, I thought maybe it was not charged enough. Put on overnight charge and finished the job next day. One week later I inserted the fully charged battery and started again - same result 75% done and the mower stopped!!! Placed it on charge for 40 mins and tried again but it only cut 2 x 6m strips before stopping. Unfortunately my faith in Einhill and German engineering was such that I have already disposed of the box. Can I have a refund please on the grounds that it is not fit for purpose?
Excellent price, especially since it includes a 4amh battery and charger. Solid products, and adds nicely to my growing Einhell collection.
