Basic strimmer but that is all I need, strims grass edges on my lawn well so I'm happy, all good.
It's done everything asked of it. Coarse grass and weeds have been taken down without any trouble. The battery has performed as stated, and the charger is as fast as they claimed. I bought a separate battery to make sure that I could keep working while one of them was charging. The plastic blades have stood up well, too, lasting longer than the line on a previous strimmer. It may be that I shall need a brushwood cutter for old brambles and the like which may be too much for this little trimmer but so far, so good.
An official excellent addition to my collection of 18V Einhell tools. The easy tool-less swap out of blades means you don’t spend time faffing around with strimmer wire. The unit is light, even with a battery on board because of the way it’s weighted. The ergonomics are good and I can cut my grass with my Einhell 18V mower and trim the edges all on one battery. Very happy. Another well designed and well thought out Einhell product.
Fed up with constantly replacing and re spooling wire I took the plunge and went with this battery powered strimmer with individual plastic blades. Wish I’d done it before as it’s quick to charge and effortlessly strims difficult to reach spots not covered by the mower.
I like this machine. It is light and easy to manoeuvre. I like the solid strimmer blade - easier to replace that a strimmer wire. I think it is good value for money.

Excellent tool for price and a free battery and charger too. Easily trimmed grass and did approximately 25 m and only used 2 thirds of battery
I was after a strimmer that didn't use that dreaded cord, this seemed to fit the bill and was half price. When I took it out the box I was disappointed, it just looks and felt like cheap plastic. I nearly put it back in the box with the intent of returning it. However, I chose to try it out. To my surprise it worked very well and the battery lasted at least half an hour, it probably wasn't fully charged. The blades do break if they hit something hard, like a large stone or wood construction, but the blades are simple to replace. How long the whole thing will last remains to be seen, but so far so good, I just wish it felt stronger.
I bought one and it was so good that I had to buy one for my daughter. Light, yet robust. Easy to use and charge. Only criticism and advice is to remove the battery before going anywhere near the cutting blade and to be careful to hold it by the carrying handle not the on/off grip! Once you understand this, it is a most excellent bush cutter.
The Einhell PXC 18V Cordless Grass Trimmer is a solid, easy-to-use tool that makes lawn care much simpler. The battery life is impressive for most garden jobs, and it cuts through grass smoothly and efficiently.
That said, it doesn’t quite get right up to the very edges, so a little extra work with edging shears might still be needed for a perfectly neat finish.
Overall, it’s a great product for everyday lawn maintenance — reliable, convenient, and good value for money, just not a complete replacement for detailed edge work.
Excellent piece of kit bought for my granddaughter she loved it lightweight but surprisingly robust and easy to change blades going to buy her an extra battery as it only comes with one so she can use it for longer the discount I had off it will pay for the spare one

No good for trimming up against a hard surface like a fence or wall

Nice little trimmer, simple to assemble and operate only it just uses 1 cutting blade, thought it would use at least 2 but still does the job
This trimmer is very light and easy to use , the plastic blades are eficient but once you cut in thicker plants it can come off. The battery holds up to an hour and it charges very fast. I would recommend this to anyone
