I have been really impressed by the saw for cutting kitchen panels, trim, etc when fitting a kitchen. Changed the blade to finer teeth, 48 teeth on a 165mm diameter blade. It gave a really nice cut and clean top surface.
The rails are good but it needed to be exchanged as one of the first rails was slightly bent, only a couple of mm off being true but enough to make the saw not run smoothly on the rails, and cut not accurately straight.
Replacement pair are spot on.
Strong, sturdy and with a good grippy rubber strip. Both pieces fix together well.

I recommend nobody should buy this as the plunge saw it is designed to be used with is rubbish, as are the clamps which come with the rails. Just finger-tightening them immediately bends them out of shape, and they "clamp" nothing.

Excellent straight edge to use with Einhell plunge saw
Good value for money the rails are well worth the price my saw slides smoothly on the rails. Would recommend them to anyone.
Well pleased with my purchase.
Good for helping to cut straight lines with the plunge saw. Mine had one rail with the stickers the wrong way so cut the wrong guide which was a mistake. Also, to cut near 2 metres, you need an overhang of around 20cm each end (in my experience when cutting 35mm oak doors) or you have to start with an overhang then move the rails along part way through. The clamps bend quite easily but overall, it works really well and I’m getting a nice straight edge.
I love the plunge saw. Its nice quality and 240v has the power! Unfortunately the guide rail, its trusty assistant, could be better to say the least! The saw glides along nicely and it cuts relatively straight which is good. However the anti slip rubbers and the rubber splinter guard comes away very easily! It looks like its poorly glued on.. first time I used it the blade completely tore through the guard and left it crumbly. On a better note its very easy to lock both rails together with a key which is provided. Both rails are flush together nicely. I think its a good product, Einhell need to scrap the splinter guard. For the money it does what I need it to do! :)
