Pulls the door shut as it is meant to (see item name). Easy to install if you have a relevant drill bit and chisel. Can't see it unless you open the door and look 😁

Perfect for if you enjoy teasing rounded screws back out after the head suddenly dissolved while you were gently driving it into a hollow door.
Everything else is fine, but the joke shop style booby-trapped screws really shouldn't be included as they're a guaranteed time waster

I have now completed the installation of 3 in total Concealed Door Closers. For a capable DIY person the instructions supplied were very clear to follow and installation easy. Adjusting the spring closing strength took a little more time but also achievable.
concealed door closer, fits exactly as it should. Easily installed and adjusted and near enough completley concealed.
The original concealed closer had bent in the middle that was fitted by the builder doing works to the new fire door. Unsure if this is due to them impact driving the screws in without properly recessing the keep in place or not. They also didn't leave me the adjustment plate either, so I bought a complete new unit as a spare in case the plate bends further under load. At the price, it hard to grumble if it fits the original footprint.

Face plate was to weak for spring and easily breaks off if not trenched in flush
Good little device. Compared to the larger top of the door closers this is a lot neater and a lot cheaper. It needs to be fitted correctly and accurately especially when it comes to drilling the hole in the door.for the cylinder.
Works well and a good pulling force for an internal timber door. Use a 22mm bit (not the 25mm as instructed) and it will leave cover for recessing the front plate. A bit tricky to mount the anchor plate to the standard as the whole thing is covered in a slight film to protect but no biggy.
Was looking for a nickel finish on a budget so happy overall.
Does the job well. The supplied fixing plate bent a lot, but I suppose it's only meant to be used once...
