Quite difficult to install as i had only installed similar once before. I found using small plumbers grip plers best to pull out chain and lock chain to enable door jamb plate to be fitted.

The concealed door closers are a little finicky to get just right, but once in place do the job assuming no friction with carpet or draught excluder.
Very awkward to fit: difficult to pull the plate out and hold it (using the extra metal plate provided). Watched a YouTube video method (which required an additional tool) and still found it difficult to achieve.

I bought this after reading a review recommending using a 22mm bit as my door is only 34mmm. This worked well rather than risking using a 26mm as suggested in the box and risking damaging the face. Used an auger bit and the hole needed a little attention at depth with a file to ensure fit. Much tidier than a spring loaded surface unit which I had been considering before reading the review.
The thing itself works fine but do not follow the instrcutions to drill a 25mm hole. This is too big. I did (using a proper 25mm auger bit) and had to fill the hole with a 1 inch dowel and glue since it was into the the ledge of a wooden framed door. Then I had to redrill a 22mm hole. This may not seem like much difference but it is since 25mm is wider than the square plate and the holes in the plate end up right on the edge of the hole. So not only is the barrel very loose in the hole but the screw holes are right on the edge.
Does what it says on the packet. First time fitting one of these, once I realised the provided locking plate jammed the chain all went well. Halved the number of times I have to get up to let the dog in and out the lounge. Result.
