High quality toilet seat with strong stainless hinges easy to fit and soft close works well
The second of these I havebought. Stainless hinges so no corrosion. Why aren't they all like this. Yhe mechanism works perfectly and we have used one for several years. Very easy to fit
The seat itself is well finished. Easy to fit, but the soft close springs tend to close the seat and lid when in use, which is not ideal. Otherwise I am pleased with the purchase

Good value item - I bought one 2 years ago but the lid catch had broken. I will see whether this one lasts longer - the lid is heavy and solid.
Even includes a tool to tighten the fittings. Soft close does not grab until nearly closed, however. Don't drop it it will bang shut.
I am happy with my Purchase and found the Toolstation staff pleasant.

This seat is there to replace a previous model of the same seat that got badly stained with hair dye.
Structurally very robust, heavy, hinges of real stainless steel and heavy dumping action on the slow close mechanism.
It is super easy to fit on our toilet as the screws (also stainless steel) are accessible (your mileage may vary depending on how hidden the screw holes are).
The coating on this one is lacquered which is a big improvement on the old model that had matt finish and stained easily.
The seat is not cold to the touch like plastic and actually feels exactly like wood seats at room temperature even though it is a composite wood construction.
