This was a like for like replacement. The original had a red 'thread' running through one braided flexible connector [ a nice touch]. This wasn't the case with the new one. Apart from this, all was good.
This contract tap is my default kitchen fitment, easy to clean and maintain, they're just perfect for purpose. This is a branded and WRAS certified example, which sets it apart from a lot of the other dubious offerings out there. It's well built and solid, operating without any physical prowess (latter point, operable by most, except those with (e.g.) very advanced arthritis (lever taps required)). Comes complete with 12mm stainless flexible tails, which again bear the WRAS approval and appear to be of high quality. No need to resort to copper tails (despite my personal reluctance to use flexible tails) to increase flow, it works great with gravity systems. 6-Star rating when I consider the price.
Good quality product. Tap valves are not quarter turn.
After initially looking at some of the more expensive taps, the reviews didn't seem much better than the cheaper options. Therefore I went with this one, which matched our previous one of 20 years. It sounds like the ceramic disc versions can have their problems whereas this works with the traditional washer system. Anyway very solid and easy to fit.
Fitted the sink well and had no issues with the taps.

After collecting from my local store it was fitted very easy and works as should. I am very pleased with it and it was very good value for money. I recommend this kitchen tap.

Reasonably priced. Basic kitchen tap needed for one of the rentals i look after. Instructions were clear however i am more than competent in fitting it without! Came well packed. What more can i say really! We will see how long it lasts but initially i was very happy with my purchase.
