Easy to install, good quality and cost
A very feeble plastic key supplied to open a badly fitting lid and clip arrangement that does not unlock, its too tough for the key. The key is hollow and when faced with unlocking the lid it breaks off.
I looked for a long time for an earth pit that was neither too small nor too big. The usual cheap little plastic ones seemed too small and insubstantial but it seems impossible to find something of an intermediate size so I ordered this. It is really solidly constructed and I would recommend it but my builder said it was way too large for my domestic earth rod so I bought a little cheap one and sent this back! It's great if you need a larger earth pit though. If anybody made one say half this size I would buy it! Toolstation's returns process worked very well.
