I never knew you could get undercoat coloured to match the main paint! I was changing the colour quite a lot and this probably saved me a coat.
Peeped wood and applied a coat of this, it didn’t dry evenly but I don’t see why it would need to as just a base. Hopefully I’ve got that right! With 2 coats of gloss on top it now looks lovely.
Having worked as a decorator previously, I know from experience that Dulux coats whatever you are painting extremely well. Yeah, it's probably more expensive, though I find you get what you pay for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent quality, thick paint and reasonable priced.
Required 3-4 coats to get an even effect. And final coat is nowhere near dry 16 hours later.
I find this paint easy to use and leaves a nice base for a top coat.
Great paint….. Great paint ….. Great paint… Great paint ….. Great paint…
Very high vapour smell, need lots of ventilation, brushes have to be cleaned in solvent cleaner, much easier to use a low odour water based undercoat in my view, as the results are the same.
Had to paint over some satin paint, the only way was to use this undercoat, very thick with food coverage - does the job
Great undercoat. Easy to use and good preparation for top cost
Good quality undercoat will stand thinning to apply if required.
You get what you pay for excellent product, didn’t expect anything else from dulux
Good opacity, but it is not fully compatible with other then Dulux finish paints. It takes an extra coat to cover the Dulux undercoat, if other manufacturers` finish paints are used.
I found it very easy to use and was pleased with the finish.
Covers really well. You have to be really careless to get it to run, too.
There are other undercoats but this is the one that works every time.
Good quality paint for the price
