Love this paint, nice to apply with brush or roller.
I expected gloss paint to be tricky but this paint was so easy to use! So much better than DIY paint. Put on two thin coats over undercoat (in matching colour) and coverage was amazing. Paint goes a really long way. No drips and fantastic finish. Also colours seem enhanced. Will always choose this now for woodwork. My only question is why dulux bother making the inferior DIY paint and save the good stuff for ‘trade’?!
This high gloss paint is very good for painting doors.
Lovely good quality oil based paint, the best, colour match perfect
I bought this recently and it is so thin it covers no marks whatsoever, waste of money.
I had read a few negative reviews that talked about the paint being very thin requiring multiple coats. I’m not sure quite how whoever wrote that came to that conclusion. I found this an excellent paint, easy to apply. One coat, directly on top of a strong blue gloss (totally different colour) was very effective and only needed the most minor touching up afterwards, mainly on small bits I had missed first time. It is a quality paint and the colour (Tideway), chosen by my 14 year old daughter, loves looks great with the colour of my new door.
Have been using this for some time and it’s the best I’ve come across
I have used Dulux trade undercoat & Gloss for over 30 years & never found anything to match its coverage finish & touch 1st class paint
I bought this in B&Q in Ireland. Leaving a review here as the Irish website does not allow reviews, or respond to emails!
I use Dulux regularly but I bought this product over the weekend and it's the wateriest paint I have ever used. I mixed it, scraped down the sides and bottom of the tin with a putty knife and kept mixing it but it did not fix it.
The tin says it should take 2 coats - but I need to cover some Dulux Heritage Oxford Blue that got on my skirting board. If I use this paint it will take a dozen coats or more to try and cover it. And it wouldn't even be a nice finish because since it's so watery, it drips everywhere.
Really great product giving a super high gloss and smooth finish. However takes an AGE to dry. Stays tacky for days 5-7 before applying a scone coat. Would easily give a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the drying time.
Nice colour, bought to do side of stairs on wood, and to match the carpet top and bottom, cheaper to paint than a new carpet. Photo doesn't show much as the project will take a long time.
Very good coverage. I'm only a DIYer but it seems like a high quality product.
Beautiful paint lovely thick and shiny not like the water based rubbish you get nowadays
