You get what you pay for, good coverage and quality paint
Easy to use, quick flowing primer. Drying time is very quick, so where needed, two coats can be applied without impacting too much on a whole project. Really pleased with primed coat finish.
Of thick consistency,but surprisingly needs two coats.
A great 2-in-1 water-based paint, easy to apply and fast drying with very little residual smell.
Definitely quick drying primer. On a hot day, it dried almost immediately.
This is an excellent Wood Primer Undercoat Paint that applied really well in a thin coat to wooden window frames on a hot 25 degree day. This really was a punt to see if it would paint on and prime in this temperature because the job had to be done, and it did. Very impressed with its performance and the same day it was ready to be over painted. Will certainly be buying this again and not cheaper alternatives.
Excellent results. Applied two base coats allowing each to dry overnight before applying one single coat of Dulux Trade Gloss. The result is excellent.
This stuff is a nice water based primer and undercoat. It goes on to bare wood very well and dries quickly. My main complaint is the price! £25 is a huge amount to pay for this amount of paint. Paint has become like printer ink it seems - grossly over-priced for what it is.

Does not cover as well as ordinary undercoat and is much more expensive. However useful on smaller jobs to avoid waste when you do not want to buy a separate tin of primer which is also more expensive than undercoat and which you might not finish the whole tin. Very useful on old previously painted surfaces to get good adhesion and reasonable coverage. Two coats are usually good enough before applying gloss
I’ve recently used this in a cloak room and bedroom over old gloss paint that was prepared with 160 grade abrasive paper and sugar soap wash. Excellent adhesion and good coverage with just one coat. Top coated with dulux trade satin white. Great results

Great product easy to use gives a good finish ready for top coat.
Too early to be sure, but as been good in the past. Make sure any filler you apply hasn't started to go off (ie become dry and brittle), then you're fine.
Good coverage and goes a long way although I would recommend the top be wiped prior to storing as when it’s reopened the dried up pieces fall back into the pot
This stuff goes on easily and consistently but its covering power over old, darker paint could be better. Expect to put on 3 or 4 coats if there's strong contrast to cover up.
