Smooth, thick and excellent primer and undercoat. Goes on nicely with an emulsion roller, two coats and you're ready for topcoat, no dramas. Our houseboat is fully wood clad and we used two coats of this on all walls and ceilings, with toupret wood filler between joins and over screwholes. Provided a beautiful base for the coloured topcoats. Cannot recommend more highly. Spenny but worth it
