I've used this undercoat many times, not sure whats changed but it seems quite thin runny compared to previously.
Its still gives a good finish but its definitely different.
Bought to paint inside oof new wooden garden room, easy to apply, covered exactly the m2 defined & looks great finished.
Good coverage but not that quick drying but good base for dulux gloss
It's a great product which is easy to paint with, dries extremely quickly and gives a great finish, ready for either gloss or satinwood to go on as a topcoat. Well worth paying that bit extra for the Dulux, a brand that you can always rely on.
Great undercoat, i used it under light tinted trade diamond satinwood to cover a mdf radiator cover, it did a fantastic job, great price, great quality
Superb undercoat with good levelling properties. Easy to apply with a fine, synthetic filament brush and on large flat surfaces using a good quality short pile roller. Using clean gear leaves nib free finish and provides a great surface for top coat.
very good coverage and dry to re coat in twenty mins
Does not cover particularly well even after two coats on new and existing painted wood work. Will use primer undercoat in future which gives a full white base
I found the opacity isn't the best but isn't the worst. I had good results with spraying this with a 310 tip. However didn't enjoy brushing it on. It did the job I suppose however for the same price there are better, quicker drying products.
Thin and dripped everywhere, didn't give good cover over pastel coloured paint so several coats needed
I hate it when customers want pure white finish on new joinery , with modern water base paints so many coats are needed to cover dark areas like knots or darker base materials like mdf or ply . This really helped , applied over 2 coats of johncryl primer undercoat it had an amazing obliteration dried fast and was easy to de nib without blocking the abrasive as so many paints do . It’s very thick , so in cold conditions warming the paint before use helped . It applied very well with a short pile roller and brush leaving a very smooth finish that took the top coat of satinwood really well
Love this product. This finishes off a room! Pure brilliant white. Flow rate is excellent and lovely to apply 😀
Been using this for years the only quickdry undercoat that actually sticks (no chipping) to previously painted gloss
Drys quick but runs easily. Doesn’t cover as well as oil based paint but is better than a lot of other water based paints.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivered quick and covered really well. So happy with finish it left
Flows well, coverage is ok, but it does dry quickly too slow you to get on with the job.
Wow paint has really come on over the years and this this is great quick dry paint and easy to use.
As a construction professional we will only use Dulux paints, it gives excellent coverage and can be painted over within an hour or so and you always get an excellent finish without an excessive number of coats
I have been using this paint for quite some time now and I’m never disappointed by it. Goes on easy, very little if any odour, dries quickly and is easy to clean up afterwards.
Excellent quality paint, great opacity. I use it regurlarly and clients are always happy with the result.
