Excellent quality product, preference for quality is always Dulux.
Ok, best to use from start to finish on a job, not worth keeping for an age and using again
Love this paint, nice to apply with brush or roller.
Very disappointed. Out of date paint supplied! Watery, discoloured and clearly old stock. Even the 2 adhesive security straps were discoloured. And it was the last one in stock. Not good! Moral of the story being, if it's the last one in stock, don't buy it!!
I expected gloss paint to be tricky but this paint was so easy to use! So much better than DIY paint. Put on two thin coats over undercoat (in matching colour) and coverage was amazing. Paint goes a really long way. No drips and fantastic finish. Also colours seem enhanced. Will always choose this now for woodwork. My only question is why dulux bother making the inferior DIY paint and save the good stuff for ‘trade’?!
Wanted a solvent based gloss as struggling to get decent finish with water based. Staff happy to check the paint type on all I asked to check
This high gloss paint is very good for painting doors.
Goes on well and looks white…two coats to cover a magnolia wall. White paint is the best!
I just painted the living room with Dulux high gloss paint, and it looks stunning! The coverage is amazing and one coat was enough for a smooth, crisp finish. It’s bright without being harsh, and the premium feel is totally worth the price. Highly recommend!
Good quality paint which sticks good to the wood - perfect
The Weathershield version says 8 year protection, so I exchanged for the Weathershield version.
After a rotten experience with planet-saving water-based gloss paint, it was actually a pleasure to use this brilliant white gloss. I managed a superb gloss finish and with no runs. I'm a DiY-er so not a skilled tradesman (whatever that is these days?) I bought far more than I needed after the water-based fiasco. One coat over existing gloss was all it took.
Lovely good quality oil based paint, the best, colour match perfect
I bought this recently and it is so thin it covers no marks whatsoever, waste of money.
I had read a few negative reviews that talked about the paint being very thin requiring multiple coats. I’m not sure quite how whoever wrote that came to that conclusion. I found this an excellent paint, easy to apply. One coat, directly on top of a strong blue gloss (totally different colour) was very effective and only needed the most minor touching up afterwards, mainly on small bits I had missed first time. It is a quality paint and the colour (Tideway), chosen by my 14 year old daughter, loves looks great with the colour of my new door.
Have been using this for some time and it’s the best I’ve come across
Used over the deluxe primer and it kept wrickling.
Easy apply, good coverage, high gloss, trade paint defo worth the extra few quid
I usually use non-drip gloss but I think I’ve been converted with this. It glides on easily without being too ‘runny’ and the shine is brilliant.
I have used Dulux trade undercoat & Gloss for over 30 years & never found anything to match its coverage finish & touch 1st class paint
