Gives a great glossy finish with just one coat. It does take a few day to completely dry but worth it.

Great paint. A bit of care required as it will run if you put too much on. Just need to check everything when you’ve finished and brush any runs out.

I expected gloss paint to be tricky but this paint was so easy to use! So much better than DIY paint. Put on two thin coats over undercoat (in matching colour) and coverage was amazing. Paint goes a really long way. No drips and fantastic finish. Also colours seem enhanced. Will always choose this now for woodwork. My only question is why dulux bother making the inferior DIY paint and save the good stuff for ‘trade’?!
Forget water based tree hugging paints.. This is the real deal for a proper shiny finish.. Use good quality brushes though.

I don’t buy anything but this gloss, used it ever since I first bought it a long time ago. Works well and doesn’t take long to dry. Doesn’t drip badly but worth keeping an eye on joints to watch for runs on doors etc
Tried using water based paint to paint my garage door. Totally useless no covering power whatsoever so i tried this paint. Whatever a difference, just one coat and the grey metal door was completely white. It is also has a slightly thick consistency so there is less chance of dripping off brush.
Dulux trade gloss, leaves a lovely finish good opacity covers well when work is prepped, Dulux is one if our go to supplierscand at a reasonable price from Toolstation
The smell is awful and it takes at least a day to dry properly. Even then it has a tacky feel to it. Not recommended for indoors.
Used for top coat on new skirting boards. Great sheen.

Superb, durable high-gloss finish with great flow and coverage. Professional results with minimal brush marks—just expensive for 1L. Worth it if you’re chasing a showroom sheen.
So nice to use ‘proper’ paint! Water based paints just do not work for me.
