[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have actually been using this paint as a base for my tins. Because its weather proof and durable it means I do not have to worry about the tins rusting after I have painted and decoupaged them! The paint is not too thick and dries quickly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this product on my stair bannister which was black. I wanted to use this as an undercoat to stop the black bleeding through and give it a nice base for white.
It’s a primer, undercoat and sealant all in one so it’s saved me lots of time in the long run. It grips really well to the base and doesn’t leave it patchy.
It’s opaque which really helps your top colour go on smooth and pop. The 2.5L goes a long way. It’s not to thick but it’s not really thin. It’s the perfect inbetween. Since its water based application was very easy and so was the cleanup.
It drys down really quickly which is a bonus when you have kids in the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this as an undercoat on my door panels. Went on nice and smoothly, and i was able to paint over it. The odour wasn't too strong, and it easily washed out from the brushes. Overall, I was very happy.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this primer over a darker blue and then painted it white. It covers the blue perfectly and has made my kitchen nice and bright. The packaging is a normal paint can so easy to open and use. I love that it didnt take a long time to dry and I was able to paint my kitchen in a day. I will be using this primer again for my heaters and doors

No strong smells and as it’s water based it’s easy to clean up after. Photo shows before and after 1 coat, blocked out the stain nicely and dried quick!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usually buy Dulux products when it comes to DIY and so it was nice to have the opprtunity to try this primer on my woodwork. I was having my skirting boards replaced and then painted, and I was really impressed with this coverage. Randomly I also tested it on my green wall and look how easily it covers the colour. For me it’s dual purpose in that respect. It was great for making the paint prime to my skirting. Will use again.

The paint mixed easily and applied super quick without leaving any streaks. The surface didn’t really need any prep as it says on the tin and it was a wall and not wood so no sanding was needed.Thick but not too thick which makes for smooth application. Dried fast and left an immaculate look. Very bright in this grey weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky to get the opportunity to try Dulux Trade Aqua Uniprimer White Multi Surface Primer 2.5l from Influenster and Dulux in exchange for my honest review.
This is a high performance, water based primer, with advanced adhesive properties for all major interior and exterior surface. For example wood, metal, uPVC & glossy Surfaces.
It's suitable for brushing, roller or spraying.
Living in an old cottage there is always high maintenance, so this paint is essential for keeping sub-straight surfaces indoors to a high quality finish & protection from stains etc.
Upon opening the tin I highly recommend giving the paint a good stir.
I was actually quite surprised by the consistency, I found it quite thin compared to other primers I've used in the past. Even though it was more thin it didn't compromise on the coverage & high quality finish.
I only needed to apply one coat and it fully covered all the stains that I was trying to cover and seal from future bleeding.
Another thing I found very impressive was how fast drying it was, within an hour it was dry to the touch!
Another good thing is the clean up process was quick and easy due to being a water based paint. For example I gave the brush a quick wash over with some water and it was back to how it was before.
Overall very impressed with the coverage and finish of this primer This paint was a pleasure to paint with would highly recommend.

The pant itself was thick and easy to apply on the wall. It does drip but I expect that without all paint. It doesn’t have a harsh smell. Some
Paints sit on my chest but this was not strong. It went on easy on the brush and easy to apply to the wall. I did need to reapply twice. That was the only downside I have. I thought I would only need to apply once, but the tin was big enough to paint the bathroom twice. It was also easy to clean the paint off the brush and store the tin away for another day of painting. Fantastic paint and I would highly recommend this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dulux trade aqua uniprimer is a fantastic product. A very low odour and the coverage is unparalleled. No preparation required when using it on untreated and naked wood. I did use two coats because I initially wasnt sure how it would dry. Going forward on new projects, I will only need one.

Not only my favourite ine i tried so far this primer , sealer stain blocker is absolutely amazing for my kitchen walls (this is where i used it for now,i will use it everywhere though i think!) It great ! Now when something spills i can just easily wipe it off without worrying that laint will come off. Waterproof is what i wanted!!

Diluted it as per instructions & the consistency and time it taken was very good. It don’t take too long to dry, it has a good coverage and a little goes a long way, works well being sprayed. Easy to clean off equipment also, which is always a bonus. It has a good matte finish, makes surfaces smooth and ready for more product. I would recommend this! Great for the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested the Dulux Trade Aqua Uniprimer White and found it to be a reliable primer for interior walls, also sealer, stain block & undercoat. It applies smoothly with minimal dripping or splatter, making it easy to control even on vertical surfaces. During scrubbing or light cleaning after drying, it stays intact and doesn’t lift easily, which shows good adhesion. The performance is solid - it seals porous surfaces well and creates an even base for topcoats. On different surface types (plaster, previously painted walls), it levels nicely and helps subsequent paint layers go on more uniformly. To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, and dry (new surfaces particularly must be fully dry).
Durability is strong, with no obvious flaking or patchiness after drying.
Stir well before use. Apply with a good quality synthetic brush or short-pile roller. Work in thin, even coats and avoid overloading the roller to prevent drips. It dries quickly, so work in sections and lightly feather the edges for a smooth finish.
Because it’s water-based, brushes and rollers, can be cleaned easily with warm soapy water while still wet - no harsh solvents needed.
Overall, it’s a practical, dependable primer that preps surfaces effectively for a professional finish. I recommend it!
