The product was easy to apply and it effectively sealed a persistently damp interior wall. The wall remained dry to the touch and the damp smell was eliminated after the treatment.
Very easy to apply, goes on nicely. Dries quickly and 2nd coat even easy to apply. Would definately buy again
Great product , would use again, drys quickly and a decent price
Great stuff, does exactly want it says on tin. Cures and protects the brickwork. Would highly recomend this product.
Easy to used and built up an nice thick barrier to protect the area I needed tanking.
Great stuff. Use an old paintbrush and just paint on the floor left to right wait an hour and then paint it again top to bottom. This way the 2nd coat gets in places the 1st coat might have missed (which can happen when the surface being painted it's not smooth). Note the 2nd coat goes on much easier over the 1st coat and you use less 2nd coat. One really good feature is it is dark blue when wet so you can see where you have been as the colour goes black when dried.
Bought this for the inside walls of the outside toilet. Didn’t realise it had to be put on in a special way. Returned for refund.
I expected this to be a lot thicker than it is, this is not a complaint, it actually allws you to spread the covering easily. definitely needed two coats to cover our concrete floor, when it dried it felt like a good rubberised coating so I have high hopes we will be damp free this winter.
According to the specifications, I would have needed 5 x 5l tins to cover my garage floor with two coats at 23.1 m sq, but I only ended up using three and a half tins. The first thing I did was to prime the floor with a 50:50 diluted pva mix, which I think is essential for good adhesion. After generously cutting in into the corners with the product, I applied a coat by hand in one direction with a brush, it’s a navy blue colour when it goes on, but dries black. The second coat I applied generously with a roller at 90 degrees to the first and it went on really well leaving a good quality finish. I’ll be putting a self levelling compound over this in the next few days. I’d definitely use this again.
Goes on easy enough and seems to leave a pretty good and consistent seal. Time will tell whether it is effective but happy with it so far.
Quite a messy business so wear disposable gloves.
Did this after doing dry-rod insertion first. Fairly easy product to apply, but make sure you thoroughly clean out all dust first. Also make sure floor is fully dried, no wet patches. I put some Thompsons water seal down first, overnight. My concrete floor was very rough, so I used a large hand-brush to apply (like a broom end), to work it into the very stippled floor. First coat tough, second coat easy. 2 x 5ltr tins was just enough for my 8ft-20ft garage. Well worth doing but leave it 48 hours after second coat, to fully dry hard. All done over two mornings.
Would recommend, gave 2 coats as per instructions.
Excellent product, followed the instructions and the wall i painted is fully sealed i haven't had any damp issues since . Easy to apply just make sure you have gloves and protective covers around the area. Ordered from bolton toolstation, staff really helpful.
Great product, been using for a long time and never had an issue with recurring damp.
I have only put the one coat on so far, yet to apply second coat, and so far I'm impressed.
Easy to apply peels a little. Not to smelly hard to review as only just applied think the instructions to apoly 2nd coat after an hour touch dry 1st coat are wrong as its still tacky at that stage and can stick to underside of your shoes i would give it a minimum 12 hours plus before 2nd coat a good 4 out 5 but coats and drying times info not accurate and coverage volume is guess work
Easily peeled off after drying. Wasn't new screed and wasn't dusty. Waste of time and money
After moving in to our first home last autumn, we began experiencing severe damp across our back bedroom floor(its a barn conversion, so everything is one level at ground floor, and is a concrete base).
Our carpet would be sodden from the walls to about 1m across the floor.
When summer came I applied 2 coats of this stuff on the concrete floor. This autumn after a lot of wet/damp weather our carpet remains dry!
Fantastic stuff.
A good product which so far seems to work.Easy to apply. Drys with a silk sheen to it.My only complaint is that it is rather pricey.
Very easy to use, not sure if it will work on the concrete floor in my shed and how long it will last, but giving it a go.
