Cant go wrong with these items. also ther is a selection of weights to choose. You would think the driving tool would shatter, unlucky, its a strong as you would expect it to be.
Great little tool for post fitting.
Eastleigh team very helpfull
Very poor quality completely unusable after putting in 4 posts.
Excellent driving tool for driving in fence spikes, I've previously used a block of wood, but that just broke.
Used this tool for 6 x 750mm spikes and its still in great condition.
I used a 10lb sledgehammer, also purchased from Toolstation.
I was in 2 minds about whether to buy this, but was totally surprised, when I used it, it took the punishment from the hammer really well, where a piece of wood would probably have disintegrated'
Worked well, exactly as expected. Just the tool for the job.
It saved me cutting a post. Strong tool, I will use it again.
It’s a post driver….does its job for a good price….
Good strong piece of kit, tried using a piece of wood in the past but the wood soon splits and then you damage the met post choler.
Did the job but not as probably intended as the spike had grips in. Had trouble getting it out but otherwise happy.
Just the job, strong and protects the post holder.
Good quality post driver at a reasonable price. Helped hammer in fence posts without getting stuck in the post. Quick and easy to collect when we needed it so work wasn't held up.
Exceedingly useful tool for driving in fence spikes
100% effective - amazing value for money. Highly recommended. Thanks Toolstation
Does not work well with 100ml don’t bother buying it for these spikes.
This is meant to be used for fitting to the fence spikes so you can knock them in but it does do that but jams and is difficult to get out, I think Id use a block of wood.
Bought this as recommended to drive the Easygrip 75x75 ground spike. It's a big lump of slightly soft plastic. After only 3 hits, it was jammed in the socket and it had burst the side of the spike as it had jammed on the post grippers. I had to drill the plastic out, and in the end bought another spike. Did all the spikes with a piece of scrap timber without issue. It is a complete waste of money and time.
Too soft, splayed out and jammed in the spike, both the tool and the spike are now useless.
I've used these before and they always split after one or two uses. They are inexpensive, so they're still useful.
Very good Price. I have used one of these before on the last project and very pleased with the performance.
