Excellent quick, easy fix for posts rotted at ground level in concrete.
These work fine, not sure how long they will hold for but have placed mine through the rotten wood into the old concrete without having to change the concrete.

Exactly what its supposed to do , very good product.
Ordered two repair spikes to fix fencing that came down in a storm. Also ordered the installation tool. The tool is only just tall enough to use but we found that with repeated hitting to try to get the spikes driven far enough in, the tool started to deform the inside flanges on the spikes. Think anymore whacks with a sledgehammer would have damaged it too much.
So, fence now fixed but I would like to point out that when I ordered these they were set to be collected from a store in London even though I was logged into my Toolstation account. I live in Scotland! I may not have had a favourite store selected but if that’s the case why default to somewhere more than 400 miles away! Had to cancel the order and re order because I didn’t spot it!
Not too sure about value, the longer one ( 600mm ) is actualy cheaper !
Not impressed with this product, the clamping feature is not very good.
An excellent well made 100x100 repair spike. Bolts firmly from two sides unlike other weaker spikes on the market

Takes a lot of driving in but still easier, quicker and cleaner than having to dig out the broken post and concrete
I have used similar spurs before and found them very effective for a reasonable price. Couldn't find them anywhere local apart from Toolstation. Great product.

Found this on website after spending an average of two days to hammer and chisel out old concrete base to fence post. Did not think it would work as well, but bought one to give it a go. Simply snapped off rotten post and hammered this in - took a couple of minutes only. New post fitted in another couple with the bolts holding firmly. Now tempted to replace all the rotten posts.
