First impressions are very good and happy with how easy it is to set up.

Replaced an old RF thermostat and controller. The new kit was straightforward to install and set up. The wiser app is easy to use. I’d have no problem recommending this product.

Easy to fit , was a replacement for a previous faulty one, which was about 18 months old and failed . Toolstation 24 hour collection took 4 days which was quite poor .

Great controller, took a little time to work out the wiring on my central heating as it had non-standard wiring.

Can’t make it work. Bad customer service

Bought around 18 months ago, seemed OK at first but never truly worked through the app.
tech support have gone so deep it's beyond belief having to change very standard domestic WiFi settings to suit this one device. thermostat and main control both replaced as both failed completely. Today I'm on Toolstation web site looking for replacement, if i had original manual heating timer/control I would have fitted it back by now.
P.S only ever bought one RAD thermostat valve and that cam off after less than one month, never functioned properly.

Bought one of these and installed it. Setup is via a cell phone or in this case a note pad which needs to be connected to a WiFi router. Once connected to the router, a browser can be used to connect to Google Play (In this case) to download the Wiser Heat App. Once the App is installed it should connect to the controller easily and guide through the setup process. This was quite easy to follow.

Bad points:
The thermostat does not display all the time but only for a short time when one of the buttons is touched. On ocasion this changed the setting for the demand temperature.
The thermostat runs on batteries and it would have been better if there had been a mains supply option then the display could have been on all the time.
There is no wireless kit for a cylinder/tank thermostat, so this has to be hard wired to the controller.
There is no windows 10 App, so the only way to use win 10 is to install an Adroid emulator and then use the emulator to download and run the Wiser App. My computer would not run this on a wired connection. It seems to require a WiFi connection

Replaced my old Drayton controller as it didn't have enough programming flexibility, and I'm working away. A little bit of digging to determine my existing wiring, and how this needed to be wired, before fitting. Setup instructions a bit flakey, had to variously turn on/off phone WiFi to get the app working/account setup (trial and error, but sorted in 20mins or so). App instructions could be better but worked out how what does what, after a little more faffing about. 5 stars if they sort the setup and operation guide.

Works fine, but took me over an hour to connect up. It may just have been me; it eventually connected up wifi/phone/tablet etc okay. I'd recommend patience if you have the same issue. Controller does what it promises.
