Wiser Drayton Smart Thermostat Kit 1

Had high hopes with Drayton but the hub would not pair up with my iPhone after many hours of attempting. I returned goods.

This is an excellent upgrade to an older Drayton controller with thermostat. Fits the existing backplate and only a minor bypassing of the old thermostat is required. Now I’ve got a wifi connected controller.

Potterton Gold (28kW) Combi boiler. Straight forward installation, thermostat now in the main living room instead of hall. Simple to use application with geo fencing enabled. My wife now controls the heating using her phone and is happy.

The Wiser Kit 1 is easy to use from your phone, and is saves energy when combined with Wiser TRV's

It still hasn’t turned up, terrible service

Works really well and so easy to setup compared to alternatives. Drayton also have a very good phone help desk with real people. Also, Toolstation were good as usual.

Very easy to install and set up good that the system can be expanded with additional stats etc. using the same interface.

As an electrician I frequently fit all the leading brands of smart thermostats, however for most of us in the trade appreciate just how good Schneider is and their new stat is possibly the best I have installed to date.

It doesn’t fit my Drayton receiver on my boiler but need to connect it to it but our electrician will connect it!

The app is particularly useful, and it was a good price. The thermostat itself annoyingly cannot be set to display the temperature all the time - only when it is touched - but otherwise this is an excellent piece of kit.

Only issue, would not work with Router I had.

Excellent smart thermostat, easy to install and easy to connect.
Toolstation was the cheapest by far. I would highly recommend this product, I'm going to get the smart TRV's to control temperature in each room.

works OK but no instructions and user guide on website completely out of date. Not very intuitive and user friendly. Schneider customer service OK.
Should be a lot cheaper for what is a fairly basic unit.

I bought this as my Drayton miGenie had a broken room thermostat that couldn't be replaced. I think the new Wiser is ok but so far isn't as good as the miGenie that I've been using for the past 3 years.

Control from 65 miles away. Purchased this for our holiday cottage. It's fantastic, allows me via my phone and the Internet to control the temperature at the cottage, when guests leave. Also if they have problems, I can help them without having to travel 130 round trip. Can set times and temperatures for various daily periods, which can simply be copied to various or all other days ofcthe week

Easy to install and set up, a little help needed from the call centre but works great

Easy to fit. Easy to connect to WiFi. App works a treat and no subscription charge for working heating over internet. I've never wired a thermostat before but worked it out with ease from instructions.
The app (which you MUST use to operate it properly) allows you to set any temperature at as many different times as you need and each day can be different settings.

Swapped a drayton Digistat+3 to this so that I could monitor the temperature of our lodge when we are not there. I didnt realise that I would need to supply mains power ( 3 amp ) to it, but after a bit of thought, that didnt pose any problem, and the wiring was very easy. Product worked perfectly.

I think the phone app is brilliant; easy to install and VERY clear as to how to proceed. It probably could have a little more functionality, but as I am using it without any radiator taps, it is obviously limited as to what it CAN provide. So far, so good !
