The plug works well but the plug uses separate schedules from the smart thermostats which is slightly annoying for my use case.
Wiser smart plug designed specifically for the Drayton Wiser home heating system. Creates a zigbee network to link outlying trv's and temp sensors to the Hubr. Plus can be used as a smart plug as well. Very handy.
Good smart [plugs to work with Drayton Wiser Smart Heating
Excellent product Works well Really please with integration with App
Only needed it as a range extender for Drayton Wiser TRVs really, but it integrated fine into Home Assistant anyway. Worked perfectly as an extender - plug in after a few hours some TRVs now had better signal via this smart plug.
Overall a good device, however, it is not clear if you want it to operate both as a Smart plug and as a range extender, how you should set it up. Instructions are not brilliant!
I bought this as I needed a signal repeater for a couple of Wiser TRVs at one end of the house. It works as advertised, but I don’t currently use is as a smart socket. Is overpriced what it is, even when discounted to the £35 that I paid.
Unfortunately, Drayton block non-Drayton zigbee devices, otherwise I would have used a cheaper alternative, like an IKEA tradfri repeater.
Works well as extender and socket, all wiser devices show a good signal
Bought this as a signal extension for my UFH aerial and quite happy with this, have not used as a timer plug
Works fine ease to set up, used a a repeater and worked fine.
Bought to extend the wifi to a Drayton Wiser Smart TRV that kept dropping out of the system. A little expensive for the job, but works perfectly, as needed.
I already have three of these in order to enable upstairs rad thermostats to "see" the hub. It's a good system but the published range of the hub is pure fantasy in a old, stone built, house. These plug units are mandatory for any radiator thermostat more than 3 or 4 from the hub if they're the other side of a proper wall.
Easy installation. Works to control electric fire as part of a Wizer heating network.
Does just what it says. It’s a plug but also extends the range of you Wiser heating system. Thankfully one was enough for us.
Great product when used with the wiser app and allows you to link to entertain smart meter to get cost of whatever is plugged in but expensive for what it is.
Neat bit of kit as it can be programmed. But the one from Toolstation was faulty and none of the stores in this area had a replacement hence only 3 stars.
Having read some reviews I decided to purchase two of these with my Wiser central heating system. I’m glad I did as if you live in a house with brick or similar walls you may have issues with getting the controller to communicate with them otherwise. However, since the Wiser system uses a mesh arrangement with Zigbee rather than communicating with the router directly (as some other smart central heating systems do) then placing one of these in a convenient socket outlet enables the controller to ‘talk’ with the smart rad stats. Of course, they can also turn on and off electrical items according to times set up in the Wiser app too.
