I upgraded my old LP822 boiler controller to the Wiser Multi-Zone Kit 2 and was really impressed with how simple the installation was—truly plug and play.
Great improvement, very simple to fit to a standard wallplate (took 5 minutes) and provides instant control of heating and hot water, plus integration with smart home systems.
A really easy upgrade to our dumb heating. for the first time in years our house feels just right.

Good flexibility and easy install. Rooms stats are nice. Be aware that this is NOT opentherm compatible. Only the single channel unit can be used for opentherm.
Good heating system and relatively simple to install. Good way to multizone the heating system. Wiser control app is easy to work with. Only disappointment is the fact geofencing is not really supported for multiple users. Otherwise good product. Did have to buy the wiser smart plug as a range extender which did improve stability for far away radiator thermostats.
I already had a Drayton controller and house thermostat with a few Drayton TRVs, so swapping out the older controller with the new Smart one and replacing the thermostat with a link and fitting a cover over the con toon box was easy. So much for the good.
However, the rad valves only fit the newer TRV4’s and not the earlier TRV1’s, 2’s or 3’s. Not so good, especially as Wiser do not make any adapters.
Again not so good is that their controller only works on 2.4GHz WiFi and many new routers transmit on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. This meant I needed to reconfigure my router to have a different SSIDs for both 2.4GHz 5GHz bands so that the Wiser controller would not drop out.
So far everything is perfect, all running smoothley
I was apprehensive about replacing my Drayton controlled with an RFI on, in the event the comms worked almost perfectly, despite it being an old house. However the adapters to fit the radiator thermostats on my Danfoss RA valves don't work. They almost do, but won't shut off the radiator. The adapters are specifically designed for RA valves and the valves work perfectly with Danfoss TRVs. So I'm reluctantly having to return the system and look at my options again
Easy to install and control. Good value for money.
Schedule setup could be more user friendly, but overall it’s a great product.
