Simple and easy to keep wiring tidy
Required a heating wiring centre to enable separation between two independent heating zones and the addition of a Hive controller. This unit is made for the job. Easy to install and wire up, especially the numbered outlets to ensure you make the right connections. Box lid is also numbered so you can mark up or add labels as to what each connection is. Could not ask for more.
Well laid out junction box and as long as you route cables to it in the proper manner the wiring will be clear and easy to complete. Good size terminals allowing up to 4 cables each side if required.
lwc3 box is WAY TOO small to get all the required leads into pump/ live feed/ boiler/ programmer/ room stat/ cyl stat minimum. needs to be deeper and slightly bigger both ways to give better separation for testing.
Exactly what was needed. They could however make one’s that looks a bit more modern for those occasions they have to be on show.
