I am using these throughout the house and have just bought two more, as I’m replacing some old panel radiators under windows with upright bar radiators on either side of the windows, to allow for long curtains. These TRVs are reliable and work very well when the system is properly balanced using the lockshields. I have had some fail over the twenty years I’ve used them, and in all cases it’s been due to renovation work dust and dirt getting into them so they can’t be turned easily. Just turn them off and cover them when renovating the room!

I have these from a few years ago and they are still performing well so happy to replace the cheaper alternatives that have started sticking that were fitted at the same time.

Fitment was perfect but took a long to drain the system
Now the double radiator does not overheat and thermostat helps to save heat
I wanted to remove a radiator to fill a crack and decorate behind it. I found that one of the valves was letting-by as the air valve continued dribbling even though both valves were wound down tightly.
As the system needed to be drained, rather than replace one valve I replaced both. These were dimensionally the same as the old valves, so the connections remained vertical as before. All good.

Rubbish bought 10mm reducer and wouldn't fit not deep enough to take reducer never had this issue before
