Good quality 3 port vale with easy to swap head- hopefully will not need to do it for a few years. Position changeover is now silent. Replacement for faulty Horstmann valve that kept mafunctioning and banged on position change.
Sourced with ease from Toolstation's user friendly website search. I had the same Drayton three port valve in my system but after more than ten years had become erratic so it was clearly time to replace. Exact same model fitted and the heating system is fully up and running again. Thankyou Toolstation.

Got this Drayton Mid Position Valve to replace a more costly Honeywell one. Easily installed and it has an 18 month guarantee, so like so many I replaced over the years it should last a couple of years. so far so good - we will see how long this new design lasts.
Valve priced competitively, still to fit ,but my plumber recommended I buy this or Honeywell, but Honeywell way more expensive. Only concern is that there is no extended warranty, hence 4 not 5 star rating
Easy to work with and Replace Actuators, if needed quite easily.
This is the third one I have fitted in the last 8 years. Each time it has been a fault in the control box tracked down to a microswitch which does not look as though it can deal with the number of times it is expected to operate. The brass valve mechanism is fine and has not been changed

Quite expensive and rather unreliabe. The limit switches fail every few years it seems necessitating a change out, but on the plus side the actuator clips on and off easily and it's only 5 wires to sort. Cheaper buying with the valve than separately.

Easy find and fit old spindle had broken off the mid position valve dremelled a grove so it could be manually turned on Xmas day fixed 2 days later
Don’t buy this unit, lasted three weeks, then had to be replaced.
Good to have a mid position valve that you can replace easily without changing the plumbing in the future.
Straight swap for Honeywell. Time will tell whether it’s reliable. The quick release head works well and is a lot more convenient than the screw fixings on the Honeywell.
