Had to replace my old one that was about 20 years old but it works a treat

Customers old British Fas controller wasnt workjng, this is a like for like replacement and fits the existing backplate. Easy to fit.

Simple to install with the universal backing plate. Upgrading from a simpler but less flexible Drayton model. Literally took 5 mins.
These Drayton programmers have been around for years and work exactly as required. Once the backplate has been connected you simply clip on programmer front. Fairly easy to programme your own times if you do not want to use the factory presets. Very easy to override a set programme if at any time you need it to come on earlier or switch of sooner.
I like the pre- installed day light saving function (DLS) so you don't have to alter the times when the clocks go forward or back.
It is a solid straight forward programmer.
It is really difficult to find fault. The cover fell off once when opened but easily put back. The lights initially looked too bright, but in the middle of the night it wasn't that bad. The instructions are long, detailed, mostly easy to understand and in English. I literally took 10minutes to replace the old one and was astonished it had the right time and date. It took me a few seconds to work out how to boost the water. The "holiday function" that turns it off ... I was a bit disappointed I could not set a minimum temperature, but that would be stupid as it's not a thermostat. It's a bit fiddly to program ... when you don't read the instructions, but still managed it quickly. The worst I can say, is it wasn't exactly the same backplate as the previous one, so not a direct swap.
This was a straight replacement for a defective unit that had been in place for 10 years. It simply fitted onto the backplate and worked.
The time setting is a bit fiddly with the buttons, but only has to be set up once.
You can buy it cheaper elsewhere online but Toolstation always have stock readily available.
Simple to fit and program, a high quality timer at a very reasonable price. As always Toolstation were quick with my online order.
Programmer bought to replace 30 year old unit that failed, does the job, but a lot smaller than the old one so required a double box to mount it on in order to get all the cables in. With a strap across the box to provide the additional mounting hole

Experienced the usual good and pleasant service at the counter. Purchased a Drayton LP722 7 day programmer. I have had Drayton programmers before and wished to replace my old one. Simple to replace as the same holes for the screws and a clear explanation of where to connect the wires.
Took an updated catalogue while in the store.
