Simple replacement for an old different manufacturers cylinder thermostat. The existing hole in the sprayed insulation was an exact same size, the connection diagram and cross referencing chart enabled a speedy connection - Job done!

Collected from local branch. Fitted perfectly in place of old unit but should have done more investigation before buying as old one with difficult to turn adjuster fixed with a squirt of WD40 !
This Cylinder Thermostat does control the temperature of the water in Cylinder but the temperature it maintains is I believe within 8 degrees of the chosen point on the gauge. This means if it is set at what is regarded as the norm for domestic use, 60 degrees, it appears it can be between 52 and 68 degrees. I think this is too wide a range as I think the boiler cuts in too often for too long increasing the running costs.

Drayton HTS 3 cylinder stat is easy to install and will work with two or three wire systems. The only negative is the dial is very small and not easy to make minor adjustments to the temperature.
