This perfectly good programmer is let down by poor support. The firmware upgrade via the app on an iOS device did not terminate properly and the 'support' could not tell me firmware version that should have been installed.
The thermostst finally works a treat! Their customer service doesnt for all they care a couple of OAPs could freeze to death! Likewise with toolstation who I have used a lot since they began trading but never again and who I emailed for help 4 days ago to be informed that they had my email which so far is the limit of their support. Drayton obviously have not heard the expression close all windows and reboot which was my sons instant cure for the stats refusal to connect. Shame we had to go without heat for 4 days till I called him
The concept of having a programmer not physically tied to the wiring of the central heating system is a good one. It was easy to fit and pair using Bluetooth. However, the user interface on the programmer is very poor. You need to use the"Wiser" app to control the central heating system.
Works great and provides plenty of programme options. Only downside is that although you can control it on your smart phone it is Bluetooth not Internet. If you have a drayton system already it fits straight onto existing backplate.
The new Drayton Digistat is an excellent product. The installation process is quick and straightforward. Additionally, the Bluetooth feature allows the customer to control their heating and hot water using their phone, without internet access. To access this feature, you need to create a Wiser account, which takes approximately five minutes. Once the account is set up, you can pair your phone with the Digistat via Bluetooth and control your heating and hot water from your phone.
A good wireless thermostat that can also be used with an app. Fits on to a standard wall plate. App uses Bluetooth so you need to be near the thermostat to use the app. I used the 2 channel version which replaces a programmer and acts as a room thermostat.
Very simple installation. Didnt use yhe app yo set up but very simple to set up on the programmer.
It was easy to install and set up but it constantly cycled my boiler on then off so I have returned it as being faulty.
Great little unit that simplified our setup & is easy to use. It uses the standard mounting plate so you might be able to simply plug and play. Pairing the base and wireless units simply worked and programming is a doddle with the phone app. (It's not exactly tricky on the unit itself!).
The only issue there is that it is bluetooth and can be fiddly. You may need to "forget" the unit a few times until the two eventually finally pair. Some have complained that it takes ages to connect but that is simply because it disconnects after not using it for 30 seconds or so - no-one wants their phone battery to drain simply to stay connected to a thermostat they might talk to once in a blue moon. All-in-all, a great buy.
Very east to install,, slotted straight onto existing standard wallpaper. Straight forward to programme with one click boost buttons. Individual time/boost functions are a must.
This is a really good product BUT the instructions are very poor it isn’t a full smart thermostat but it can be controlled by Bluetooth anywhere in the house.
The other reviews have been poor but for the money this is an excellent buy.

Not very easy to set up, or not very user friendly, the Bluetooth connection is hit and miss I won’t be fitting another of these unfortunately
Seems like a good product. Instructions don't mention that you need the batteries in the remote unit prior to powering up wall switch. Thsi meant we needed ot spend a considerable amount o f time talking to tech at Drayton.
The App is NOT working. Spoken to Drayton twice and they think that as this is a new product there is a bug with the latest apple software. If app is fixed then this will be a 5 star product but until then the remote unit is quite clunky to use. As one of the selling points over other units was the app then not happy at all.
