The fact that it was coiled so tightly meant that time was wasted in allowing it to relax in tha sum for a day. Needed to get this front to back above a car roof lining. No hope of pushing it through so taped it to a thin bamboo lath. Once through it worked as it should and allowed the cables to be drawn back.
I bought this to geet around a corner in downlighter coving, did the job perfectly and saved on the (four times the price) fish tape from a different supplier.

This done the job exactly how I wanted it to drawing the cable under the flooring .
Along with cable lubricant, made life 100 times easier pulling cables through conduit.
Very stiff but adequate for the job. If you want one for several jobs. Maybe upgrade?
I needed to get the cold tail cable through a flexible conduit in a finished tiled wall. The flexible conduit had quite a tight bend at the exit and try as I might I couldn’t get anything to work round the bend. The draw tape came to the rescue.
Great to have in the toolbar for those tricky jobs.

Can't fault the product! But Toolstation? Unusually this went wrong.. Ordered 21/1 for next WD collection at Saltash.. Heard nothing by 24/1... Saved by my usual awesome Liskeard branch...
I've given this 4* rating even though it didn't work for me. I bought it to feed cables behind a spot and dab drywall. It didn't work as it cannot be straightend out, it just coiled up behind the wall as I fed it in. However, I'm sure it would work well for feeding through conduit or trunking and given its low price it is good value for that type of job.
This has been used once currently and it did the job!
This product did the job for me. I only had to feed the cable a short distance so didn’t have any problems. It is well made and a good price so won’t break the bank. Not sure how this would perform if you need to go between two small holes in a straight line.
