I was looking for a fine cut saw and purchased this one by mistake, in my opinion this is more suitable for a first cut and definitely not a final cut, but as I mentioned.
I think that this was my mistake, I should have read the specification.
Needed the saw for a specific diy job and it did the job perfectly.
Bought last week and going to take it back as can’t cut with it. Impossible to try and start a cut
Very, very poor saw. Despite the 12tpi (ie fine cut), this saw is nigh on impossible to start a cut. The teeth are very deep and aggressive, and even in softwood I found it impossible to complete a cut through a 1/2 inch piece. The back is the thinnest ever piece of pressed metal I've ever seen on a saw. I bought two of these and they literally went straight in the bin after trying to use them.

Size of blade includes the unusable teeth under the handle which makes it useless to use with a mitre box. Aso gives a very rough cut.
Really great saw. But the handle is a little bit uncomfortable if using for any length of time.

Great little saw to replace my blunt grandad one, toolstation have become my go to local store, good prices and decent gear.
Cheap as chips and does the job. What I would call a workings man saw rather than a show piece. Is robust, comfortable enough to use for extended periods and cheap enough to replace when required.
