Would not have been able to install the grommets without the included tools .Just a pity that so few grommets included in the kit as ive not been able to find more without having to buy the fitting tools as well

Perfect for what I needed. I used these to edge a sheet of tarpaulin I had cut to make a groundsheet for a tent.
I have no problem with the item or with Toolstation but for £4.99 an almost identical item is available from a major DIY retailer as opposed to £12.98 at Toolstation. I had no problem obtaining a refund.
Works perfectly, producing nice neatly closed grommets. The mandrel works perfectly, but the little bit of wood, though a nice touch, is useless but I had a larger plabk of woood handy.
Used on plastic sheeting as cover for trailer. Easy to fit.
Having worked out how the various components o the kit work together, the kit was ver simple and effective. The instructions that come with it are far from clear but there is a good clip online
It is a shame that the eyelets are not available to be purchased separately
I consider myself hopeless at DIY I never have the correct tools but this was easy. The pack included the correct tools which made all the difference.
Gave me extra eyelets to secure the tarpaulin. Great little kit.
Unfortunately, the grommets have rather sharp edges (due to thin metal). As a result, the grommet edges cut into the tarpaulin and start to pull out. To work around this, I added some canvas "washers" between the grommet and tarpaulin material (both sides). I then punched the hole through the canvas and tarpaulin material.
While the thin metal was a signifcant issue, the rest of the kit is nice. Also easy to use.
Good value, pity you dont sell the replacement grommets seperately.
An absolutely outstanding little tool. So, so easy to use and hugely effective. A very solid piece of kit which allows you to add grommets/eyelets to a tarpaulin in just a few seconds. There’s a quick Draper guide in YouTube, so you can’t really go wrong! Exceptionally pleased.
I found the kit worked perfectly on quite thick canvas, but you have to be realistic, when I tried to use the hole cutter on webbing straps it failed to cut through, but I doubt any cutter would have succeeded as others I tried also failed to cut through too. Eventually I used a heated bar to burn a hole and then the grommets went on perfectly.
Used for display banners. Easy to use though no detail in pack - I watched a youtube video.
Ideal tool for repairing a damaged table cover. Happy with my purchase.
