Its jammed up and cannot get it to work again. Not happy! Will not buy a Draper tool again. Spend more money and get a good reliable tool.
Brought this stapler was going great but then stopped working after about a year but did like it so brought another one the same as the batteries were usable still have the old one for spares
Unless!!! Can't get through a run of staples without jamming
Brilliant piece of kit. Have just stapled an entire multifoil loft insulation using this machine and it worked perfectly with 40mm staples. Not a single mis-fire or blockage. Would recommend
Bought this for a job as the compressor one we have was too noisy for the enviorment we were working in. I don’t think i’ll use the compressor gun again!!! this is so easy , we used 18& 22mm divergent point staples in 6mm ply and this flys through the job. Yes it jams occasionally but this is expected with any gun and it’s probably down to hitting a floorboard nail underneath or something .i’m buying the 5Ah battery charger, the 1Ah is ok for smaller areas but not so on larger . adjustable firing depth is also a major plus on this . I won’t go back to the compressor gun again. Highly recommend
The item it’s self not put it to work yet - but Toolstation review On this occasion can only give them a poor below average rating , Be it there fault or not but it wasn’t next day in store ready ,despite turning up and finding it hadn’t arrived or been delivered to the store but there again I never got that email or text message saying it’s now in store ,so my third visit was still on impulse to see if it’s arrived 5 days after ordered on line to collect in store an item that could only be purchased online and not be delivered ,either .
I have brought many Draper products which are good & worth the money as I like to buy British. However I cannot say the same for the Nail gun. Since I purchased the gun it has continued to block each time I use it. You then have to remove 4 bolts unblock & reassemble which takes away the idea of a quick process. When it does work it’s good but you know sooner or later it will block again so frustrating. I’m only using single shot which adds to the disappointment.
This is a good stapler/nailer. I got it to staple chicken wire to a fruit cage and it did the job well. There were no misfires or jams while putting in an estimated 400 staples. The only things I could fault is there is no way to switch the LED light off permanently and the little rubber cover for the safety lug fell off after about 70 staples and I lost it. Also the 2.0Ah battery only lasts for about 200 staples.
Used it on battery charge it came with. About 1000 nails done with no jams. Great wee gun. I only wish the led wasn't on the grip as you automatically put it on just by holding gun. Kills battery when not needed. A switch away would have been a better design
Only had it a short while and used it just twice, up to now it's ok, however it is exactly the same in every detail (with the exception of the battery which has a slightly different connection, but the battery shape etc is also the same, they always want you to buy "their" battery don't they) as the one I bought from Aldi around 12 months ago and was on sale again just a month ago for fifty quid less. I suspect that it is exactly the same manufacturer, just branded differently.
Jammed on second nail, unable to clear the fault even though there’s no obvious jam so I will be returning for a refund. Other reviews are accurate - this is a totally flawed design so don’t waste your money nor take the risk thinking it’s user error. It isn’t.
Brilliant for sticking on render beads
Bought this nailer for a simple cladding job, as my other nailer only did 25mm nails. First time it misfired and has to strip it down to remove the misfire. Found the tread in the body holding the top plate was partially stripped so wasn’t very impressed ( I’m a aerospace QA manager). Out of 10 nails I had 3 misfires so took it back. Fair play to Toolstation I received a full refund
By the end of the first day's work it stopped working. Toolstation did not respond to my online request for replkacement and after some days delay I telephoned and was told I had to return it to their branch who would send it for repair. This means the tool I bought because I need it will not be available to me for weeks.
Arrived quick, great price, and cheaper than hiring one for two weeks!
Made cladding my shed a breeze, very easy to use, quick to load the Brad nails. Decent price compared to others I’ve seen and cordless with a great battery life. Excellent bit of kit
