A robust item but two items for the potential purchaser to be aware of.
First , the unit does not come with the fitting to connect to the air line. Probably as there are a variety of them. You will need to purchase the correct fitting.
Secondly, I found the scale difficult to read. AOP so younger users may not have a problem.
tool works well accept a little difficult pushing onto the valve stem
I was fed up of the pen type pressure gauges. They are fiddly. This inflator will check pressures on its easy to read scale without plugging into the air line if needed. Looks and feels robust. No sticking out gauge to get damaged.
Much better than the cheaper options. If you can, pick this one over the other options. Cant confirm accuracy but I'm sure it's some where near
Once you can get the inflator onto the valve it is fine, the gauge can be easily read, but getting the valve air tight when inflating the tyre is extremely difficult
'Looks' more accurate than the standard cheepie in air compressor tool sets. Cannot vouch for accuracy as I have no way to measure pressure. Other than that, it feels and looks good. Only going on the "if it looks good" must be good.
Seems a good quality tool and does the job it was bought for
cheaper that a pcl unit & iv checked it against a digital guage and its bang on.
4stars is due to the valve end having small threads in and if its not perfectly straight it either loses air or gets semi stuck on the valve stem, hopefully its something i can get used to.
I am very pleased with this tool it is a great improvement on my original one.
