Perfect for cutting out panels in a van for fitting windows. I used it with a 25L stanley compressor and worked really well. I did have to pause a couple of times to let the compressor catchup. But very impressed with how easy it was !
Rubbish. It would not cut open a tin of beans. Buy a more powerful one.
Used to cut panel van windows out. Did the job well with a good air tank behind it. A little awkward in tight corners.
I bought it 2 weeks ago to cut 2 windows out jn my van finally used it yesterday and it packed in after 10 mins use my compressor is a 175 litre 3.5 bhp motor and it struggled kept having to stop for the air tank to catch up ive bought many draper air tools with no problem at all but this one failed big time took it back toolstation were brilliant the changed it for another one this thing uses a lot of air so your compressor going of what I saw yesterday needs to be massive think draper need to look at the design of this it would be a great tool if it worked how it should
I bought this to cut box profile roofing sheets, as I had seen a video online of someone doing that. Unfortunately the gap in the die part is too small to allow the nibbler to cut across the sheets around the profiles. It worked absolutely fine cutting length wise and will be a handy tool.
Faulty product first time but no fault of toolstation and they replaced without hassle. Second tool worked well.
Great tool quick and easy to use
worked really well cutting windows in my van, uses a load of air, so had to pause a handful off times to let the compressor catch up. Overall a good bit of kit.
Much easier to use than air shears
Only good for 22g steel as lacks power
Brilliant bit of kit, so much easier than a jig saw, I used it for cutting out side windows converting a van to a camper.
If you have compressor get one you won't be disappointed.
Just what I wanted, and having seen the new store in Blandford I shall be in soon for my next purchase.
Cuts a clean & burr-free edge. Ideal for trimming roof sheets & general sheet metal & car body work. My compressor is smallest diy type so necessary to allow tank to recharge before continuing on long cuts - but managed.
Works a treat cutting through several steel 55 gallon drums with ease.
