I had, and still have, a blocked drainage pipe. I’m sure this attachment would have worked in a different pipe, however, the ‘ears’ on this one protrude too far for my particular drainage pipe, they kept catching and the rods could not get through.
Great tool worked a treat and saved me a fortune doing job
The item on Chepstow is no good to me since I live in Cwmbach Aberdare.
Please either send to Aberaman or return my money.
It really helps with the blocked drains keeps it flowing right
Item was cheap, but was robust, collected from the store and it did the job it was bought for
Opted for the unbranded one at ½ the price as it is not a job I cherish or do often, works as well as others I've used.
good quality piece of kit at good price for my drain rods
Used with drain rods to clear blockage. Worked ok.
Got drain rods from tool station but the 50 m worm screw doesn’t fit on my rods had to go to plumbing centre to get part
Basic drain worm to clear my rainwater drain pipes. Did the job fitting onto my existing poles for a few quid.
As few other reviewers have said, the thread was a poor fit on my rods. Only screwed one turn or so rather than up to the ferrule. Will buy something better for next time.
Does exactly what you want it to do, drains are now clear and running.
It seems to be a solidly made attachment and did the job as required.
Didn’t seem to have same screw thread as my rods. Possibly could have forced it but decided against rather than risk damaging thread on any of my rods.
Well made attachment. I actually bought this to retrieve a brush which had come adrift and got stuck in our chimney flue. It worked a treat. Great price.
It's okay for the money, the weld holding the two worm screws broke on me after winding it through 4 drain rod lengths of mud but it helped to get it cleared out and unblocked.
Fitted rods perfectly and cleared blocked pipe in no time
This double worm screw was used in conjunction with the drop scraper. It was used to loosen the silt in my storm drain and it worked perfectly.
