Very small flange on the indoor side, meaning the hole has to be drilled absolutely to the right size. No cover to slide across to prevent person outside attempting to look. Better models were available at an equivalent chain of high street stores, though these were being discontinued at the time of this review (but luckily I got the very last one at my local branch!)

It's fine but it cannot be adjusted to a less than full thickness area of door, not a long enough threaded area.
Bought it to replace another 12mm hole size unit which had failed due to water getting in between the lenses.

Only time will tell if it remains condensation free inside.
The original one lasted only about 3 years so I hope this one lasts longer - if not then it is very cheap and easy to replace again.

amazingly tiny item, no instructions (e.g. what hole size to drill - ok I can work it out, but don't see why I need to guess) & max depth of 55mm which is only just adequate for our Victorian door, I hope
Does the job at a great price. Bigger than the standard ones from years ago, but you get a better vision.

very cheap viewer but it does do the job, however it needs a 12mm hole unlike many other viewers that use a 14mm hole so don't buy if its to replace a 14mm viewer as it won't fit
It’s not as good as I thought it would be, as there’s too much glare when you look through it.
Easy to fit. Very small. Is ok. The little flap on the inside isn't great. I'm sure that won't last long. But for the money it does the job.

Fitted perfectly and works well.
Threaded part in tube does not go all the way down the tube so when you cut to suite thickness of door there is no thread left to screw on. Had to use original tube from old viewer fitted.
Works well and easy to fit. Good value.
