NOT FOR UPVC DOORS - not made clear enough! I bought this as it was not clear enough that they are of no use on uPVC doors. The shop wouldn't let me return it, so I am stuck with it until I can give it away. A bit of a waste of money and after watching youtube videos, they are very easily defeated, so of not much use in terms of security.
If there was something like this for a uPVC door, I would buy the product. Unfortunately, for being honest, I doubt I will win any prizes.

Only for door frame with parallel wall adjacent. I fitted this where door frame was set into a thick wall. With restrictor engaged, customer could not see the visitor due to the wall blocking her view. Probably would have had the same problem with a traditional security chain, unless the chain was very long.
