Bought this having had one a decade ago to keep chill out of shed. Having accumilated a large amount of paint in shed for a few projects that over run and not wishing to damage it I decided that despite the shed being insulated and double glazed ( previous use as office) the forecast of minus 7° C overnight might well take the shed temp below the 5°C recommended minimum. So quickly fitted the tube heater ( two rawplugs and screws) and turned it on for the duration of the minus 7°C. I did thermometer checks on a few times. The lowest post night check revealed +8° C. The shed is approx 8m x 3•5m. A cheap protection for a few hundred £ of paint.
Bought to reduce condensation in our camper van. It's doing the job well, even on just over half power.
Excellent Product, providing frost protection in un-headed Garage
Excellent piece of equipment easy to install good wall mounts would be better with a light so you can tell when’s on or not
Got this for my shed and it does a very good job for just 80w
Good product, just difficult to work out the desired temperature on the variable stat wheel - be good if had some values - Good for harsh environments
Very happy with this little thing, use in loaft to keep moist free so far it's doing the job
This heater was bought to go inside a cupboard; positioned across one end. The cupboard is 25 inches deep. The heater was totally useless as it is 29 inches long despite being titled 2ft 80 W !!!!!
Nice item, bought to keep van windscreen clear of ice/frost on cold nights. Works perfectly. Heater has a thermostat and is set to minimum.
My hut is 12ftby6ftby7ft.I installed 2 of these heaters two weeks ago and so far they are doing the job. Will wait until the really cold weather to see if they still keep the frost away. They were easy to install and they both worked well first time.
I bought this to keep my camper van above freezing in the cold weather to stop the pipes freezing and so far its done a great job, surprised at how much heat it actually gives off.
As has been stated in a previous review. I put the heater under my covered motorbike to keep the condensation at bay. It works a treat
Basic, simple to use and gives off a good heat for a small heater. I have built it into an enclosed rabbit hutch so it takes the chill off over winter, easy to install.
I have several of these underneath my covered motorbikes during the Winter months (1 per bike. 80w under the bigger bikes and 40w under the smaller ones) to eliminate condensation. They work perfectly. Only need to be on a very low setting, i.e. just warm to the touch, to achieve what they need to do so the effect on my electricity use isn't noticeable.
Great little heater to keep the chill of a work room
It's seems well made. From other reviews it won't cost an arm & a leg to run.
Impressed with brackets (very neat)
Bought to take the chill off entrance lobby give out a fair amount of heat considering it’s only 80 watts only costs 3p an hour to run according to smart meter.
Garage was absolutely freezing to the point my clasic car battery was dead every winter ,,small 2ft tube heater keeps garage at 5c (well below freezing before) very pleased with results..
Bought this to replace an old tatty one we had in our porch, this one is far better as you can regulate the heat, takes the chill off the porch.
I needed to dry outdoor type clothes, so installed this in my garage and made a simple frame above it, for an instant drying room. For being only 80 watts it works surprisingly well, drying boots and jackets nicely.
