I'm building a set of hand tools for my Grandson and this is the starting point.

Original plan was to buy whole set but after discussion with friend came up too idea, it is much easier to keep tools in smaller boxes so easier to carry them. So have there my sunder, jigsaw, charger dust pipe for sander all different sheets. Happy

Excellent, strong and rugged but lots of attention to details like the seal, locking mechanisms and many handles. Easily big enough for a circular saw, planer, reciprocal blade and jigsaw/multi plus bits & bobs whilst still leaving room for the tote tray. My advice would be to be careful about going larger, eg the 400, because it will be really heavy when full. I’ve added the ‘half-height’ 166 instead. It fits perfectly on top of the 300, takes two drills and a jigsaw plus charger&batteries and gives lots of manageable options for securing and transporting tools. As impressed as I’ve consistently been by DeWalt, these storage solutions are as good as they can be and even followers of other brands should seriously consider using them.
Always difficult to find a toolbox that takes the punishment of everyday use.
This toolbox bucks the trend very tough and durable. I probably shouldn't use it as a handy step up, but I do and it takes my weight ok.
Only downside is, because of it's size I tend to fill it up more than other toolboxes I've had which makes it a bit on the heavy side

Have owned a tough system 2.0 for two years and I have had no issues.
Good sized box, comes with small internal tray, supposedly water proof and don’t doubt it as lid is slightly difficult to open due to the seal but not a problem, just needs a good pull, weakest part would seem to be the clasps for closing the lid, time will tell how durable these are, overall happy with the box and happy with Toolstation
Good new home for my daughter, as we do not have an enough room in the house, this was ideal as it is fully waterproof and suitable for her staying outside
As expected the Dewalt Toughsystem Toolbox is excellent build quality, waterproof & the perfect size that comfortably fits my 460mm drill bits in. I have however replaced the small top tray it comes with for a deep tray insert that I bought separately which is also excellent build quality. 👌🏼

Good tool box. I have had an original tough box that came with a DeWalt drill twin pack for many years and that has been brilliant, though not, I am not a professional so my tools have a relatively easy life. This new Tough system 2.0 clips onto the old box quite easily and I expect it to last just the same. The box comes with useful half width tote tray. Good price. Good service.
