Even with a full pilot hole the heads on these often tend to snap off. I reckon I had about 50% mortality.
Needs a 4.8mm drill which is from what I could find impossible as a masonry drill and they snap
Quite easily.
Good quality and solid. I used then to hold new concrete to old.
great value screw for medium to heavy duty fixings
Handy will hold in any material no problem good grip
Does exactly what it says. Useful & no pre drilling required. Would recommend
Used these to secure a steel shed to paving slabs. It's absolutely rock solid. Drilled a 5mm hole and used a socket to tighten the screws. They grip so tight that when I over did it with one, it snapped rather than spinning itself loose as I thought might happen. Can't recommend highly enough.
Excellent screws that are super strong and create to insert using a regular socket.
Best screws on the market and wouldnt use anything else
Good screws for concrete.
Used a 5mm SDS to pilot drill. Most worked perfectly. A 4.5mm or 4.8mm pilot hole in concrete would probably be bettter.
Having the hex heads for an 8mm socket makes these much easier to fit than a screwdriver
Very good product strong useful and easy to use it
Used these fixings to hold ply onto a container wall
Ideal for bolting a pergola to sandstone slabs
Terrible - but they did refund
An excellent fixing easy to use and quick, used a 5mm masonry pilot drill. Fixings great for 25mm batten fixings.
These are the best screws I have found for attaching wood to concrete or concrete blocks.
Works really well. Good quality.
I only discovered these things recently & I love them, drill a hole into masonry 1mm/1.3mm smaller than the screw diameter & they go straight in, really secure & the hex head is so much better for driving them in first time, awesome !
