I bought this DEWALT extractor in the hope that it would easily connect to my dewalt tools. The suction is strong, the wheels are great, and the ability to plug tools into the 13amp socket is brilliant. However, the hose is not a standard size nor is there any readily available information on compatible connectors. Unless you’re looking to 3D print your own connectors you are looking at purchasing at least two additional adapters to be able to make use of this machine. The hose is unnecessarily heavy and clunky, and also not very long. A waste of money, should have gone with festool!
Thought I was getting a DeWalt product until I came to register for the 3 year warranty. The model number was not recognised. It turns out that DeWalt does not manufacture these products directly so do not provide support for them. Took it back and bought a Makita. Toolstation were great.
Wet,dry and remote on/off when using the front socket.
The hoover has fantastic suction
Brilliant to use with tools, noise limited to when using tools, power feed initiates vacuum and removes dust as you are going, great thinking. Slight shame it hasn't got a good size floor head.

Powerful and lots of suction, exactly what you expect from DeWalt. Good price, not exactly compact but definitely does the job
Great vacuum that keeps on going and going where my old Karcher just gave up and stopped sucking. It does gradually loose suction as the filter clogs up, but never seems to give up like the karcher. Only problem is with the wide bore fittings, feel there should be an adapter to normal size fittings.
Had this for around 2months, so light and wheels are great for dragging around. Use it as dust extraction on my mitre saw and can use it in doors as the unit works so well. Particularly like the power take off for any 240V tools, vacuum turns on and off automatically so no need to keep turning it on yourself.
its a good hover the only thing i would say is it could do with a wider end peace for carpets and make it bag less as they are not cheep.
The suction on this is superb and there are some useful features, however I have a couple of gripes. Firstly, as this is not one of the dewalt ‘dust extractors’ and more of a plain old vac, the dewalt attachments do not fit on it, therefore I had a bit of a mare trying to connect it to my 35mm mitre saw outlet. I managed to source a 3D printed attachment off a well known auction site. It’s very useful having the power take off, however you can tell that this isn’t a uk design as a standard 3 pin plug doesn’t fit overly well as the cord fouls the unit. Overall the quality is reasonable, it performs well and it has good features.
