The Dewalt DWS520 165mm Plunge Saw is a high powered machine that offers impressive control and speed.

The 1300W saw delivers a corded solution to professionals working on trimming, plunge cutting and sheet cutting jobs.

Delivering outstanding levels of accuracy, durability and finish, the saw includes an anti-kickback function that stops the saw from moving backwards along the rail and helps stop the saw from climbing out of the work piece when making plunge cuts.

A powerful 1,300W motor deliver a no load speed of 1,750-4,000rpm that lets the plunge saw cut to a depth of up to 55mm with guide rails, and 59mm without guide rails. A 48-tooth blade and fine rail adjustment give the smoothest, straightest cuts every time with minimal breakout in laminate.

The DWS520 has variable speed control to allows the correct speed to be applied subject to the different types of material.  The full wave electronics within the saw ensure that a constant speed is always maintained, even under a heavy load.

Compatible with the Dewalt AirLock dust extraction system, the enclosed guard gives a 90% dust extraction capability.
