Bought this for a specific job as had to measure a lot of rooms myself and whilst expensive it was , I thoughts high end manufacturer. IT DID NOT WORK, put new batteries in , still did not work had an error code on screen which had to use internet to find out what issue was , it did not help sort problem. In the end returned product for refund , not tool stations fault but will consider other brands before a go first to De Walt agin. sorry not what I expected.
Simple to use with lots of optional extras if needed

The device is very light and feels a little cheap , not the usual dewalt product, main gripe though is the carry strap which you have to fit is impossible to get through the time hole , after many attempts I had to use a piece of wire to push it through , silly design,
I was surprised how accurate it was. I checked against calibrated manual measure and it was 3 mm off in its maximum distance, 30 meters. Great tool and easy to use.
Accurate enough but doesn't go below 100mm which isn't a problem

It's OK. Used it to measure all the walls in my house. It turns off a lot mid measure, which is frustrating.
Worst set of instructions I have ever come across.
Cannot get it to work as per instruction leaflet. I wonder if it is faulty?
Good value basic measurer. Great when working alone and the tape wont reach.

No good 6mm out tested against 2 other brands a bosh laser (1mm out ) and one a joiner had bought from temu (3mm out) a good old fashioned tape (spot on )
If rough measuring for skirting / carpets etc. would be ok but if your needing to the mm measurements look elsewhere

The staff thought it would work outdoors but isn’t really bright enough except at very short distances
